Spring Pictures

I grabbed my camera this evening a took a stroll in my front yard.   Everyone of these photos was taken  within approximately 50 feet of my front door.

Oh…how I love my camera!!!   Smile   I love trying to capture color.   I like taking photos of flowers, berries, and animals.   Whatever has color…that’s what I’m after.

I didn’t have my monopod with me and you can see the yellow flowers below are a little fuzzy, but I still like the shot.

I have a thing for purple flowers.   These were growing right by the road under my neighbor’s mailbox.

There is a pair of doves that nest somewhere near my house every spring.    This photo has been cropped at bit.  Smile

These little plants are the first sign of spring every year.  I think most people consider them a weed, but there’s something about this photo that I really like.

I looked out my window this morning and  there was about 20 Robins in my yard.   They are such beautiful birds.

If you have any remaining doubts about the arrival of spring…well here’s your proof.   It’s the ice cream truck!!!   I’ve lived in this house for 20 years and we’ve had the same ice cream truck all these years.   It’s had the same driver as well.   When Cristin was little she called her the “I Scream Yady”.

I thought I would post some extras below…..
